The day started with the warm welcome of the school Headmistress at the beginning of the grand plenary meeting then the teams presented their latest works related to the measurement of the acceleration of gravity on Earth. Next, as equal to the Professor Calculus, Marek Matlok and his students presented us their unlikely and fun physics experiments. The morning ended with the inauguration in the schoolyard of the Polish sundial placed on a mine cart so characteristic of the past and still present mining activity in this region.
In the afternoon we first visited the foundation's research center for the development of cardiac surgery and some of the remarkable sites of the city: the miner's neighborhood, the Jewish cemetery, the church St. Joseph and the football stadium of the club Górnik Zabrze.
