Kozlu HS, Tuesday November 11th
After a short night, a bus drove us to the school in Kozlu for our 1st working day. We were welcomed by the Headmistress and other staff members. Then the students of each country presented the results of their scientific researches. At 10.30am, the Governor of Kozlu, Ahmet Karayaka, welcomed us in his office at the Town Hall. At 11.30am, we attended a lecture about air pollution in Zonguldak. At 12.30pm, we went back to school where we had a wonderful lunch with typical Turkish meals prepared by the students'families.
In the afternoon, we went back to work. First, we listened to the rest of the students'presentations, then while the students attended classes, the teachers met for long hours to talk about the project and about the next steps. In the late afternoon, we were given our presence certificates. At 5.30pm, the students went back to their host families.
